Chamomile (German)
German Chamomile - Dried Whole Flowers (Matricaria chamomilla)
Our Chamomile is hand-picked and dried on-farm for peak potency and preservation of Chamomile’s delicate aromatics. Complete darkness during our drying process preserves the yellow and green color of these flowers.
Chamomile Tea is a great way to unwind and relax at the end of the day with its calming aromatics and slightly bitter apple flavor. This flavor is reflected in the Spanish word for Chamomile - Manzanilla (little apple.) Chamomile can also be used in home-made salve, baked goods, desserts, cocktails and more!
Steep 1-2 Tablespoons per pint of water for 3-5 Minutes. A longer steep will bring out the bitter/digestive properties of Chamomile (8 - 10 minutes.)
